Ik ben in Schotland omdat ik voor mijn opleiding biotechnologie een jaar stage mocht lopen in het buitenland. Mijn stageplek is op de afdeling Plant Sciences in het Huitema lab in het James Hutton Institute wat gevestigd is in Invergowrie, Dundee. Dit instituut is een partner van de University of Dundee. Ik wil al een hele tijd naar Schotland, en om dit deel uit te laten maken van mijn opleiding, was de keus voor een buitenland stage snel gemaakt. Als je hier bent voel je je al snel thuis. De mensen zijn vriendelijk, beleeft en erg behulpzaam. Voor iedereen die erover denkt om hierheen te gaan voor een stage, voor de ervaring, of gewoon omdat het je leuk lijkt, ik zou het doen. ***** I am in Scotland, because I was given the possibility to do an internship abroad for my biotechnology study. De people are friendly, polite and very helpful. For everyone thinking of going here for study, an internship, or just because you can I would say just do it.
