Waarom ik hier ben. Why I'm here.

Ik ben in Schotland omdat ik voor mijn opleiding biotechnologie een jaar stage mocht lopen in het buitenland. Mijn stageplek is op de afdeling Plant Sciences in het Huitema lab in het James Hutton Institute wat gevestigd is in Invergowrie, Dundee. Dit instituut is een partner van de University of Dundee. Ik wil al een hele tijd naar Schotland, en om dit deel uit te laten maken van mijn opleiding, was de keus voor een buitenland stage snel gemaakt. Als je hier bent voel je je al snel thuis. De mensen zijn vriendelijk, beleeft en erg behulpzaam. Voor iedereen die erover denkt om hierheen te gaan voor een stage, voor de ervaring, of gewoon omdat het je leuk lijkt, ik zou het doen. ***** I am in Scotland, because I was given the possibility to do an internship abroad for my biotechnology study. My internship is at the division of Plant Sciences in the Huitema lab in the James Hutton Institute located in Invergowrie, Dundee. The institute is a partner of the University of Dundee. I have wanted to go to Scotland for a long time. To let this be part of my education was a great opportunity and I was happy to take it. You feel at home quite easily here. De people are friendly, polite and very helpful. For everyone thinking of going here for study, an internship, or just because you can I would say just do it.
